When it comes to cleaning your bathroom, it’s important to make sure that you do a good job, because it’s really not an area of the home you want to be kind of clean. However, using harsh chemicals isn’t the best idea because while they do keep the bathroom sparkling clean, they’re not exactly great for your health. So what’s the solution? Make your own cleaners! They’ll keep your bathroom clean without any nasty chemicals.

What You Need

-white vinegar

-baking soda

-dish soap

-fragrance oil, optional

-spray bottle

Mirror Cleaner:

1/4 cup vinegar

2 1/2 cups water

1/2 teaspoon dish soap

fragrance oil, if desired

Mix all of the ingredients together and place in the spray bottle. You can also add in corn starch in order to avoid streaking. Don’t add too much dish soap, as it might leave a bit of residue.

Toilet Cleaner:

1 cup vinegar

1 cup baking soda

Mix the vinegar and baking soda together and pour them directly into the toilet bowl. Let it sit for a bit to react and then scrub the grime away from all around the toilet bowl.

Drain Cleaner:

1 cup baking soda

1/2 cup vinegar

Pour the baking soda into the drain and then add in the vinegar. It will react and become fizzy. Cover the drain and let the mixture be for about 30 minutes to an hour. Uncover the drain and rinse with hot water and see the huge difference.
